Booth.

The Iso Booth is the most tight sounding room in the building. The walls and ceiling are all sound absorbent and the floor is full carpet, further absorbing high frequencies and bringing another level of comfort.

The tight acoustics fit a bunch of projects, where a drier sound is desired, like 70’s inspired music. Drums sound really good here with great separation between elements. It’s also ideal for placing guitar/bass amps while the artist may be in another room somewhere.

It is also a great place for vocal recording, either for music, podcasts, videos, etc. The screen monitor in there helps the later, when reading a script or watching a video may be needed.

Even though the room is very dry sounding, both the corridor that accesses it and the bathroom across sound very lively. This opens up a lot of possibilities for recording, and it can be used in an echo chamber-esque kind of way, contrasting the dryness of the Iso Booth and the liveliness of the corridor and bathroom.

It has sound connections between the Control Room and the Live Room for most flexibility.
